up date

OMG is been  three weeks since i dont make a new entry :c bad me.

But i wanted to wait until my camera gets fixed, as my computer too, because we have virusss here wich is no good for anybody, even more for someone like me who his bussines works 90% with computer and camera DUH!

But i dont want to be innactive here, SO i want to make this up date on the things that happened here this last weeks.

Pero queria esperar a que mi camara y mi computadora fueran arregladas pues sen envirulearon (la memoria de mi camara tmbn)  y eso no es bueno para nadie, en especial para alguien como yo cuyo negociofunciona 90% gracias a la camara y la compu, duh!

Pero como no quiero estar tan desaparecida por aqui, quise hacer un up date de las cosas que han sucedido ultimamente por estos lugares.

In other themes, I did not made the character desing, this month because the theme was about RE desing a character that i actually DON´T know, so, i dont even try it.

En otros temas, este mes no participe en el character design challenge, por que fue sobre rediselar Zelda, y la neta, yo nunca en mi vida he tocado un video juego (sere la unica looser del planeta?)  y pues no se me hacia honesto, querer re diseñar algo cuyo diseño original no conozco hahaha.

weekend favourites

AAAAnd because i can't post(yet) my last entry because is not finished, i want to show you this, my WEEKEND FAVOURITES. My first try of a web comic... I promise i will improve this.

1) My little boy eats finally by his own and ends his little plate! omg!!! i will die of love !

3) Did i'm the only one who LOVES the smell and warm feeling of clothes when they get out of the dryer ??? ok maybe... Adult life i guess.

En vista de que no puedo mostrar aun mi GRAN entrada al blog por que no esta terminada, pues... quiero mostrarles esto, mi primer intento de un web comic, Prometo que mejorare.

1) Anakin al fin come solito, y se termina todo su plato ooow es la cosita mas linda del mundo!

A bout challenges

I LOVE, like I, REALLY  love character design ever since i'd started to draw, back when i was 9. (started creating my own digimons :p )  Character design is part of my life, i can´t imagine myself without character designing.
So it was so much awesome when i found the Chracter Design Challenge, my first contribution was 4 months ago, with Dia de Muertos ( Day of the death) theme, i fall MORE in love with the challenge and felt so much indentificated with the theme, because I´m mexican and really adore this celebrations, so i decided to join the adventure.

Enserio AMO, diseñar personajes, siempre, desde que aprendi a dibujar  a los 9 años, ( empece inventandome digimons :p ), entonces, esto ha sido parte de mi vida y no me imagino a mi misma haciendo otra cosa. Asi que cuando descubri el Chracter Design Challenge  ame mucho el facebook y a la gente que hiso posible ese reto hahah, de hecho el primer tema con el que participe hace cuatro meses, fue el del Dia de los muertos, en realidad fue gracias al tema que me entuciasme a porfir unirme a esa aventura pues me identifique con el tema, por que pues soy mexicana y adoro esas fiestas.

But then i had a very busy couple of months, designing my own calendar (which you can still buy at my shop), opening my online shop and other stuff... so I have to admit that i didn't keep the challenge, but now i'm ready!

Pero entonces vino una serie de meses realmente ocupados donde diseñe mi propio calendario (que puedes comprar aca) abriendo mi tienda online, y otras cosas, en fin debo aceptar que no mantuve el reto, pero ahora estoy mas lista y puesta que un calcetin para continuar donde me quede.

And oohh woooow!! the theme the past month was Vikings! what an awsome theme to get back to this challenge.So i made this she-Viking (i don't know if it is well say).

Y oooh que sorpresaaa el tema del mes pasado fue Vikingos! enserio que tema tan increible para regresar. Asi que hice esta vikinga, con hermoso cabello rosa.

So I was here writing this blog post, and noticed the theme of this entry, and feeling that i wanted to talk a bit about challenges, i mean my experience. because there is no life in this planet that can live without that.

Challenges, I think you can´t face them without will, so whenever you have in front of you a challenge, without that you may probably not do anything, but, what happens when you dont have it?, what happens when you are depressed, or not in the mood? I only can say that MOTIVATION is the word that can save you at this point, and How do you can find motivation, ? some times, you look for it a lot but seems like it is running away from you. 

It happened to me, for more than a year i'd lost all my will to do anything, i had a BIG change of life (also a change of heart) that confused me in many ways,  but i have to thank for my own motivation, this gets renovated every day because of my son, i think love  is the main word, also my husband   helped me a lot to find the way again, and start to do what i love, and try it again. Actually that was my challenge, find my motivation, and my will to get back  to do things.  

And i have to say that my son is a very full source of inspiration/motivation, he is always into DOING things, and the proud it makes me feel, keeps me always motivated.

Estaba yo, escribiendo esta entrada al blog, y me di cuenta del titulo, A bout challenges, y senti la necesidad de hablar un poquito sobre los RETOS, por que simplemente no hay vida en este planeta que no tenga que enfrentar alguno.

Retos, creo que nadie puede afrontar un reto sin voluntad asi que, sin eso probablemente no haras nada, pero que pasa cuando estas deprimido? cuando simplemente perdiste la voluntad de hacer cualquier cosa o no tienes ganas? creo que la MOTIVACIÓN es lo que nos salva la vida... y cuando no encuentras motivacion? a veces uno la anda buscando y parece que tiene pequeños pies y corre lejos de ti..

A mi me paso, por mas de un año perdi toda la voluntad de hacer cosas, la verdad es que pase por un cambio enorme, de vida y de corazon, que me confundio de muchos modos, pero la verdad, tengo que dar gracias por haber encontrado la motivacion al fin en mi hijo,  amor es la palabra,  mi pareja tambien ayudo mucho a que pudiera volver a tener la voluntad de hacer lo que amo, y volverlo a intentar. Realmente ese ha sido el reto, encontrar la motivacion y la voluntad de  hacer las cosas.

Y la verdad es que mi hijo es una gran fuente de inspiracion/motivacion  siempre esta haciendo algo, y se empeña mucho y muy bien en ello, lo orgullosa y feliz que eso me hace sentir me logra mantener motivada.

hello first entry!

omg! Hola! por fin tengo blog ( yaaay! ) !! y a decir verdad, tengo muuchos planes para este espacio, siempre he tenido blogs, pero jamas he podido mantenerlos, asi que si, si me considero NUEVA en el arte de blogging. Esta ha sido una semana muy alocada y feliz, llena de  celebraciones por que por fin abri mi tienda online!!  y tambien hice un GIVEAWAY

Y ahora inauguro mi blog!  y quiero empezar mostrando un poquito detras de mi proceso de ilustracion, Por que atodos nos gusta ver detras de escenas, SIEMPRE!

OMG! HELLO! finally, my blog!  (yaaay) this have been a crazy week, with the launch of my online store, I have many ideas for this space and I really want to make them happen. 

SO, first entry, and i want to show you a little peek into my illustration process, is not something awsome out of the world but everybody wants to see behind the scenes.... ALWAYS :)

So, everything starts with a blank watercolour page. I have to say that i'm not a very  organized person, so i dont use to sketch before  in my sketchbook( when i'm doing personal illustration ) and always find myself doodleing directly on my (expensive D,: )  watercolour page. (NOT recomendable)  but yeah, this is how everything starts.

°Y bueno, todo empieza con una hoja de acuarela en blanco, Tengo que admitir que NO soy una persona organizada soy terrible!, y cuando se trata de hacer una ilustracion propia, la verdad me encuentro dibujando directo en la hoja de acuarela antes de ahcer primero sketch en mi cuaderno de sketch... (no lo recomiendo por que cuando no sabes que hacer te encuentras borrando una y otra vez y eso puede dañar tu hoja)

usually i start painting the background because sometimes is hard to paint if you made firts plane... well, first.  And for this i use two kind of brushes, but my favorite is this one, wich is amazing because allows me to make thin and thick lines. I LOVE this brush i even had make whole painthings using only this one, So if you are like me, a person with a very low budget and want to explore watercolours, don't feel forced to buy many kinds of brushes, this one can help you a LOT)...forgive the horrible nails

°Normalmente empiezo con el fondo, por que la verdad es super difisil pintar un fondo despues de haber pintado el primer plano por que puede que no logres controlar tu mano y termines manchando lineas o areas que te costaron mas detallar, asi que si, primero el fondo, y lo que hago es usar un pincel que es redondo pero con la punta delgada que me permite hacer lineas gruesas y delgadas, es hermoso, lo amo y cada que puedo compro uno nuevo por que suelo acabarmelo, he hecho muchas de mis ilustraciones usando solo este pincel ( asi que si eres como yo, y no tienes mucho dinero para gastar en pinceles pero quieres buenos resultados empieza con este pincel, vale la pena el costo y vale por 3 ) perdon por el horrible manicure.

This is my other brush, i'm using more this one. I'm not a cat crazy person but i love cats, and  find that i've never made a lustration about that.. And yeah the light at home is TERRIBLE.

°Y este es el otro pincel, es mas delgado, últimamente me encuentro usandolo mucho. No soy una loca de los gatos, pero en realidad me gustan mucho, y descubri que nunca habia hecho alguna ilustracion al respecto :p. Y si la luz en casa, (especialmente en el area que pinto) es horrible, estoy pensando mudarme a pintar al pasillo de arriba donde hay mucha luz.. peroquiensabe.)

Also i'm feeling inlove with flowers and plants into my illustrations so i wanted to try a bit into this one. (YES i sometimes keep painting after sign it)

°Ultimamente me he sentido muy afin conlas platas y las flores y todo ese follaje dentro de mis ilustraiones asi que quise añadir un poco en esta tambien, y si a veces sigo pintando despues de firmar :p
